Major winners emerge as Main Events advance and Second Mortgage Week begins.
SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / September 21, 2026 / Americas Cardroom entered the final stretch of the $50 million OSS XL after a busy September 20 schedule featuring major tournament results and three advancing Main Events.
OSS XL #215 drew 1,204 entries and generated a $722,400 prize pool, exceeding its $600,000 guarantee by $122,400. A final-table deal set the top two payouts, with slippy12 receiving $119,923 and runner-up a6amKa4ePBb earning $114,033.
Two additional tournaments finished above their guarantees. The $630 High Roller #213H attracted 499 entries and produced $299,400 against a $250,000 guarantee. G26 won $59,536 after a final-table deal. Mini Phil's Thrill #219 drew 104 entries at $2,650, creating a $260,000 prize pool against its $250,000 guarantee, and Infliponcio earned $58,500 for first place.
Three other events paid their full guarantees after Americas Cardroom made up the shortfall. The $215 OSS XL #216 drew 1,177 entries and paid $250,000, including $46,771 to tangerina77. The $16.50 Sunday Splash attracted 4,504 entries and paid $75,000, with PedroPAAulo winning $10,906. The $27.50 Sunday Smash drew 3,479 entries and paid $100,000, awarding slavkopider $15,780. Phil's Thrill PLO #220 met its $200,000 guarantee exactly, with HFNeon taking $58,000.
The three OSS XL Main Events also moved forward. The $2,650 event, with $2.5 million guaranteed, recorded 468 Day 1A entries, while the $1,050 event, with $2 million guaranteed, drew 950. Both hold their final Day 1B flights this Sunday, September 27. The $66 Main Event drew 2,564 Day 1B entries and returns for Day 2 with 493 players competing for the $500,000 prize pool after a $202,100 overlay.
As of Monday morning, GROOTHEDEGEN led the High leaderboard, ITILTHARD headed Medium and MALEKSEY topped Low. The Leaderboard Competition will pay more than $60,000 in cash and tournament tickets.
Second Mortgage Week begins today and runs through September 28, featuring 10 Nosebleed Stakes events across five playing days with buy-ins from $5,200 to $25,500.
